Obi Wan Kanobi - Barn Manager

Obi Wan Kanobi was a stray who wandered in one evening while Jen was sleeping in the barn awaiting Ono's arrival. As the temperature was in the teens that night, he snuggled his way into Jen's heated blanket and into our hearts. Shortly after, he assumed the position of Barn Manager.

Darwin - Field Manager (Nov 2005)

Darwin - a Border Collie - came to the barn via a friend. He is enthusiastic, full of energy, highly affection, and intelligent. He is always ready to work.

His job is leading the way on the trails.

Socrates - Financial Manager (Sept 1998)

Socrates is the Man of the house and takes care of the barn finances for Teresa. Perhaps that is why the checkbook is so hard to read!

He and his brother Nathan have been in the household the longest and they rule the house.

Nathan - Safety Manager (Sept 1998)

Nathan is in charge of Safety. He earned this position after being caught in a fox trap in the neighboring orchard. He is shown here with his bandage and was lucky to keep his paw.

Nathan wants to remind everyone to wear the appropriate riding gear and helmet when riding.

Scooter - Inventory Manager (March 2003)

Scooter enjoys keeping an eye on hay inventory and the equipment in the barn. He is also the barn busy body.

He likes to greet new arrivals and be in everyone's business (under your feet).. Hence the name --Scoot Scoot Scooter.

Kitten - House Manager (April 2000)

Kitten is very laid back and keeps tabs on the events in the house. She enjoys mousing and also alerts Teresa when there is a snake in the house.
